1. (Fri) Still in bed. Jim and Florence and the children were up to day.
2. (Sat) I got up and dressed but had to lie down all day.
3. (Sun) Jess and Elsie and the children were here at Aldene's for dinner to day. I haven't been up much.
4. (Mon) I came home this morning. Aldene and Allen came out this eve. Brot a cake and 2 pies.

6. (Wed) I went to Orue's to the Ladies Aid. My hand is doing pretty good.

10. (Sun) They had a surprise dinner at the church for Aldene and Allen. Their 15th Anniversary.
11. (Mon) I went home with Aldene's and stayed all day. They brot me home and the piece for the car.

13. (Wed) Jess' butchered to day. We were there. The roads are awful bad.
14. (Thu) My hand has hurt me awful bad all day.

24. (Sun) I went home with Jim and Florence. Jim's car went bad and we were 2 hours going home.
25. (Mon) Florence washed and ironed to day. I made me a new dress. I called Boyd this eve. and he said Mr. Fowler died about 3 o'clock this morning.
26. (Tue) Florence brot me home this after noon. Jim got a new car this morning and we came up to Virden in it.
27. (Wed) We went to Mr. Fowler's funeral with Mr. and Mrs. Crouse in the wagon. The roads are so bad.
28. (Thu) We went to town to day. Iva had a quilting. We were there for dinner.
29. (Fri) Mr. and Mrs. Gass and Bud, Mr. and Mrs. Roberts, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Arthur were here last nite till 12 o'clock.
30. (Sat) Jess came after us and we went home with him for dinner and drove the Chev home.
31. (Sun) We went to church and to Aldene's for dinner. Jim and Florence were there.

21. (Sun) We didn't go any place. Florence's and Aldene's all came for dinner. The roads were so bad they came around thru Lowdes.

25. (Thu) Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and children spent the eve here this eve.
26. (Fri) We went to town to take my chicken for the supper. Went to Curt's.
27. (Sat) We went to town after dinner. I got some pieces for a big Flower garden quilt.
28. (Sun) We went to S.S. and church. To Aldene's for dinner. Came home and done the chores and went back to church. Iva and Aldene and Allen came out after church.
29. (Mon) We papered the kitchen this morning. Pieced quilt blocks this after noon and placed Crazy 8 this evening.
1. (Tue) I washed and ironed to day.
2. (Wed) We went to Iva's to the Ladies Aid.
3. (Thu) Iva. Aldene, Agnes and I went to Mrs. Eber's to the Country club. 20th anniversary. It rained all day so Boyd came to town to drive home.

26. Lida's birthday. Iva and I went to the hospital to see Fred with Mr. and Mrs. Andereck.
10. Aldene, Allen, Boyd and I went to Fred's.
4. Iva, Aldene, Boyd and I went to Fred's to day.
15. Jim and Florence went to Edna's and we took their car on the see Fred. He is no better.
10. They called us to go to Fred's, he is bad. Jess took us, took Iva with us. We got there about eleven. Went thro a terrible storm. Fred seemed better this morning and we came home. Iva stayed.
17. Fred died about 4 o'clock this morning49. They called us last nite. Jess and Elsie and Boyd and I went. Got home about 10 o'clock.
18. Jess' and us went to Fred's again this morning. Elsie and I took chickens and every thing for dinner.
19. Fred was buried this after noon.
30. Joe and the children were down to day.
10. I went to Springfield with Allen and Aldene to day. Got a lot of Christmas things.
20. We sent Franks a box to day.
23. We got a box from Flossie to day.
49. Fred Cryder was 63 years old.
