It's Summer!! YIPPEEEEEEEE!

This year's annual meeting went well...we had some good discussions and some laughs, too! We ate all the donuts and drank all the coffee....we were hoping to see more of you, but we were glad of the ones that were able to make it this year.  Thank you!

Minutes from Annual Wayaka Pines Road Association Meeting – 6/5/04

Discussion Items:

Treasurer’s Report – Most checks have been received to-date for ’04 dues, a few more to go.
Expenses: $420.00 spent on plowing and sanding over the winter.

Future Road Work – Install one culvert & fill, replace one inadequate culvert & fill. Receiving estimates on topping the road with stone dust in the areas which are prone to erosion.

New Business – Discussed putting a warning sign in the cove which will reinforce the state law watercraft speed regulations in a water safety zone. All present agreed to the sign and we will be contacting the state for any legal issues associated with placing a warning sign in the water. Please, everyone use common sense when using watercraft in the cove area. According to the law, the entire cove area is a “water safety zone” and all watercraft being operated within the cove must use headway speed ONLY.

New Business – Consider making and posting a sign with all owners’ names on it at the beginning of the association road. It was agreed that the majority of owner’s would like to remain anonymous and no sign would be considered at this time.

New Business – It was agreed that the spur road which gives access to the Flinn’s property would have to be closed off during next years spring mud season due to the fact that unauthorized traffic during mud season this year left that road in an unserviceable condition. We will try to accomplish this by chaining the end of the road off during mud season next year.
