Case of Emergency (ICE)
If an emergency happens and you are not at home and unable to speak, by storing
a few emergency phone numbers in your cell phone, EMS (ambulance personnel),
Firefighter or a Police Officer can contact your family.
Simply store these emergency numbers in your cell phone under the name ICE
(In Case of Emergency). More than 1 number can be stored by using ICE 1, ICE
2 and ICE 3.
So please take a few moments and ICE your cell phone.

History teaches that a lack of hurricane awareness and preparation are common
threads among all major hurricane disasters. By knowing your vulnerability and
what actions you should take, you can reduce the effects of a hurricane
disaster. Hurricane Preparedness Week during 2009 will be held May 24th
through May 30th.
The goal of this Hurricane Preparedness Web site is to inform the public
about the hurricane hazards and provide knowledge which can be used to take
ACTION. This information can be used to save lives at work, home, while on
the road, or on the water.
