LEPC Membership

(pursuant to Title 37B)

Application for LEPC Membership doc

Representatives from the following groups/organizations must be on the LEPC:

1 - elected state and local officials (mayor, town manager, state representatives)

2 - law enforcement (local police, Maine State Police)

3 - civil defense (county and local EMA directors)

4 - firefighting (paid and volunteer)

5 - first aid (emergency medical services)

6 - health (health department, medical community, veterinarians)

7 - local environmental (air and/or water pollution control agency)

8 - hospital personnel

9 - transportation personnel (local public works, DOT, truck or rail companies)

10 - broadcast and print media (local radio, TV, press)

11 - citizens living near local facilities

12 - employees working in local facilities

13 - community groups (Red Cross, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club)

14 - owner and operators of facilities
