CERT Jamboree
Our 5th Jamboree training weekend will be held
September 10th and
11th at Camp Laurel in
Mt. Vernon. We hope all of you are able to come out and share this two-day
learning experience with other County and Town CERT, CART, SAR, ARES/EMCOMM
teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to network, share ideas and have fun.

Registration:
All
registrations must be received by close of business Friday, August 26th.
Please forward all completed registration forms to your County EMA office.
Due to administrative tasks, no registrations will be allowed after this
date.
Overnight:
For those of you hoping to arrive Friday evening, I have included a listing
of local campgrounds below.
On Saturday,
lodging will be provided on-site, in addition to coffee in the morning and lunch
and dinner.
On Sunday, breakfast and lunch will be provided for participants.
There is no cost to participate in this training event.
The accommodations are very similar to a typical camping situation. Please bring
toiletries, appropriate
gear and clothing for all weather, as well as bug spray and sun block.
Additional items: sleeping bag, towel, swimwear, pillow,
non-perishable snacks
Clothing and gear:
Please dress appropriately for the classes you have signed up for.
Please consider sun block and bug spray and a complete change of clothes and
shoes.
