Slide Show Timings Slides can be set to advance
when you click your mouse. This is the
most common method of presenting. Slide transitions can
coincide with your speech. Different
amounts of time can be assigned to each individual slide or they can all
advance after the same amount of time.
There are many keyboard shortcuts available. You may pause your
presentation at any time by pressing the S key. Pressing the S key again will restart the
show. You may want your
presentations to be self-running, which is especially useful for a trade show
kiosk, job fair or waiting area. Some speakers prefer to have
a self-running presentation running in the background while they talk. Their slides display their work but do not
necessarily coincide with their speech.
This is becoming increasingly popular, especially for architectural
project proposals. When presentations are set
to kiosk mode, the slides will not advance with the mouse or spacebar. The user must click on an action button or
a hyperlink that is programmed to take them to the next slide. The only key that works in kiosk mode is
the escape key and that can be disabled if you like. Most interactive presentations use this
method. We can make self-running
CDs. They will work on all
Windows-based computers regardless of whether the user has PowerPoint or
not. You can distribute them to
clients or use them on the road. We offer updates. If you change your method of presenting, we
can change your slide show timings for you. |
