The DK6-IP is based on the popular DK6 housing and offers a unique and extended feature set to remote workers. The DK6-IP connects back to the host TDS Series system via the IP Station Unit.

The IP phone essentially offers similar features like DSS and trunk line appearances on the telephone set as if it were a phone on the local system.

The G2-ISU (IP Station Unit) is an in skin interface card that installs inside the TDS cabinet and provides connectivity for up to 4, 8 and 16 SIP based IP devices. The IP devices can be installed on site or remotely. There are 3 variants of the ISU card respectively depending on the number of IP channels desired. The G2-ITU (IP Trunk Unit) is an in skin interface card that installs inside the TDS cabinet and provides connectivity for up to 4, 8 and 16 SIP based trunk circuits. The IP trunk unit is ideal for connecting multiple offices together in a network which offers station to station dialing as well as tool bypass. Of course connectivity to an IP carrier for additional toll saving is possible as well. The are 3 variants of the ITU card respectively depending on the number of IP trunking channels desired.
Door Stations and Access Control
The DK-DPU is a digital doorphone unit. It is housed in an aluminum silver gray case which provides a rugged construction base. The internal components are protected against moisture by gaskets and seals within the housing.

The digital doorphone unit is connected to the telephone system via a standard digital station port, uniquely allowing for a large quantity of doorphones to be installed.

The digital doorphone can be programmed to ring a specific station or a group of stations when the call button is pressed. It also can be called by another station within the system. A relay inside the door phone unit can be activated by an internal user to activate a door lock mechanism for entry into a door.

The Access Control Phone (ACP) is a uniquely flexible device that connects to the TDS Series telephone system just like a regular telephone set. It has a speaker and microphone for handsfree communications, a call button and a dial pad as well as internal relays and sensors for access control. The ACP (Access Control Phone) is a doorphone like device with many more functions than an average door phone. Designed for use in sheltered or indoor situations the ACP is a digital system device fed by single pair wiring from any TransTel TDS series telephone system.

The functionality of the ACP is many fold: it provides an audio path to extensions or external lines, RFID detector for proximity card, relay to open the door or activate a siren and a sensor to detect alarm status. The ACP has many different combinations: such as a door phone at front or back door, normal wall mount phone with handsfree answer back, two-way speaker, security control panel and access control device. Using a 4 character x 7 segment large format display the ACP shows key/operation status during use, otherwise displaying the current time.

The ACP is also equipped standard with RFID and access control capability. RFID cards are available that may be used for employee access purposes. Or you may assign specific passwords for access to entrances to doors or building entrances, or a combination of passwords and access cards.

We call it the ACP - short for Access Control Phone - it is a doorphone like device with many more functions than your average doorphone.

A digital system device fed by single pair from any TDS series system, the exterior version is a special made to order metal housing suitable for building entrance applications.

The functionality of the ACP includes the following :
Displays system time when in the idle state; key/operation status during use.
Call button rings programmed extensions with programmable tone and "Door" display.
Call to any extension by number, or even external lines.
RFID detector for proximity card or fob, dry contact relay to drive electric door lock.
Door entry by RFID card swipe, or numeric code entry, or both if required.
Another relay and sensor to detect alarm status and/or activate alarm or siren.
Behaves like other extension phones - handsfree intercom/answer etc.
The ACP has many different uses: as a door phone at front or back door; normal wall mount phone with handsfree answer back; two-way speaker; security control panel and access control device.
Card access by doorphone, time of day, day of week, is programmable within the TransTel system.

The ACP provides an elegant solution to security, for your business or home.

Least Cost Routing In any business environment the ability to reduce costs without negative effect can provide significant advantage for those who take the opportunity. Integration of Least Cost Routing as a STANDARD programmed feature of TDS systems provides such an opportunity. In todays communication environment there are multiple choices for communication channels and/or carriers with a variety of call costs associated, even down to different call rates dependent on the time of day. Least Cost Routing allows you to program the carrier or channel used according to the number dialed and/or the time of day. By discerning the leading digits of a number dialed LCR will then either send the number as is, insert a carrier prefix into the dial string, or select a particular trunk to carry the call. For example: mobile calls could be directed to your GSM router; local and national daytime calls prefixed to your second carrier, or directed via VoIP trunks to your ITSP for the most economical national and international tariffs. For larger business a Hybrex multi-site network with VoIP trunking between sites is an option. In these cases the combination of specified extension numbering at sites and LCR programming can be used to create desk to desk dialing and the appearance of a seamless company network. Inter-site VoIP trunking has also creates the advantage of nil tariff inter-site calls. In these ways TDS LCR allows you to program the most economical option to carry any call you make - a significant business advantage.
ISDN Connectivity BRI & PRI Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) has been proven as an effective and quality communications conduit with worthwhile and beneficial features for business. ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI) provides for 2 trunks plus a data management channel. Similarly, but scaled, ISDN Primary Rate Interface (PRI) provides for 30 trunks Euro and 24 in the United States. ISDN, being digital, is also capable of carrying other data types such as video if required. The integration of ISDN in TDS systems provides the high sound quality and multimedia access inherent in ISDN. The real business advantage however comes with the additional features TDS ISDN integration provides. Features such as: Multiple Subscriber Number (MSN) - the provision of multiple numbers for your business, essential for DID (below). Direct Inward Dial (DID) - allowing incoming callers direct access to extensions without going through the switchboard. Calling Line Identification (CLI) - allowing you to identify the originating number of incoming calls from the ISDN network. Calling Line Identification Presentation (CLIP) - allows the presentation of a specific number for all outgoing calls. Calling Line Identification Restriction (CLIR) - allows the restriction of identification for outgoing calls. Advice of Charge (AOC) - at the end of each call, approximate call cost can be notified (subject to network provider). Network Based Call Diversion, Transfer, or Conference - divert, transfer, or conference calls without tying up your lines. Should you require, the TDS ISDN interface hardware also allows connection to E1/T1 interfaces
Paging, Music On Hold, Background Music TDS digital systems allow all types of extensions to access a variety of paging types. Internal paging through the speaker of Digital phones and Access Control Phones. External paging through an external PA system. MOH (Music on Hold) to allow outside callers to listen to music when put on hold. TMS Voice Mail Systems

G2-VMU  In skin processor card     6 port 4 hours of storage

The G2-VMU can be equipped with either a 128MB or a 256MB industry standard CF card. The G2-VMU voice mail card is supplied with recorded factory default voice prompts for most voicemail functions including Auto Attendant (DISA) and ACD as well as other voice related functions of the system.

Auto Attendant (DISA) Operation For Auto Attendant functions, the system will automatically answer incoming calls and allow the caller to dial an extension number or the pilot number of the Hunting Group directly. Dialing can be single digit, complete extension number or a combination of both. Once a call is answered by the Auto Attendant the internal user cannot interrupt or take over the call until the call processing is completed or the call is transferred. The VMU offers many kinds of Company Greeting Messages, such as day time greeting, night time greeting, lunch break greeting and holiday greeting. Those can be recorded and changed by users by logging in as the system administrator i.e console operator.

Operator Overflow (ACD-1) Operation In Operator Overflow operation, the VMU will answer the incoming calls after a (programmable) period of time and play a message indicating the external caller that the operator is busy and the caller is queued behind the operator phone. The call is then placed on hold and is presented to the Operator phone in order of receipt. After a (programmable) period of time if the operator has still not answered the call the VMU will again take the call and play a second message apologizing for the delay and placing the call back in the queue. If for any reason the call is not answered then a third timer is available to play a message the caller can be redirected to another ACD group, an extension or a special ACD mailbox. The incoming call is always shown as a ringing call on the handsets and can be manually answered by the operator or other users even while the caller is listening to the VMU message. Default messages are built into the VMU but all 3 messages are user programmable.

User Mail Box Individual extensions can be allocated a Voice Mailbox by programming. The number of mailboxes and the recording time available to individual handsets depends on whether the 128 MB or 256 MB Compact Flash memory card is used and how the available memory is allocated to each station.
