My Testimony
By Virginia Mathieu

I was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ as my Savior as a child.  We attended church faithfully, giving me the opportunity to grow spiritually as I learned more.  I was able to take part in various ministries in the church and enjoyed going to the Christian school there as well, where I graduated in 2002.
Iwent to Camp Good News® as a child and also to Christian Youth In Action® training school as a teenager.  When I was home on break from college (I attended Boston Baptist College), John Romano visited me and said that whenever I was done school I could have a place to work with Child Evangelism Fellowship® in Western Maine.  I graduated college in 2004 and started work here immediately.
This has been a dream of mine!  I praise the Lord for bringing me to this point in my life.  I couldn’t have asked for better - the work of teaching children the Gospel is the ultimate ministry in my mind.  The staff here is the best: the committee, teachers, volunteers, state office and Camp staff, prayer partners, they all work together beautifully to help each other reach the children.  I feel so privileged to be the C.E.F. Western Maine Director and I am looking forward to all the things He has planned in the future!

Barbara Rozelle and Marilyn Noyes, Western Maine Retired Staff
Barbara Rozelle and Marilyn Noyes have worked with C.E.F.® for many years. Marilyn was the Central Maine director for a number of years before the Lord led them to go, as a team, to C.E.F.® of Wisconsin.
After  working in Wisconsin for approximately 11 years, they made a move to Massachusetts to  work with C.E.F. there.  There were no workers in that area, at that time, before they joined.
Since Joyce Forsyth, Barbara and Marilyn had worked together years ago, the Western Maine Committee, along with Joyce, invited them to be a part of the Western Maine Chapter of C.E.F.® They are now on active retirement status and, as Marilyn says, she gets to do what she enjoys best. They teach Good News Clubs®  and host a Prayer Band in their home which meets bi-weekly. They are always glad to help with Teacher Training Classes and Teachers Workshops.
Barbara and Marilyn also enjoy helping at Christian Youth In Action® Training School, where they teach classes and supervise a team of young people each year. Marilyn enjoys teaching 5 - Day Clubs® and V.B.S. in the summertime, and Barbara is glad to be in the Chapel - on - Wheels at the fairs leading children and others to the Lord.
At the fall fairs, Marilyn enjoys giving out many free tickets to invite children and their families to visit the Chapel- on - Wheels®.

We thank the Lord for them, for their serving with us!

Terry and Elaine Oakes are the Support Team Members for the Western Maine Chapter of C.E.F.
The Western Maine Chapter of C.E.F.® has many volunteers who give their time to help in many ways to reach boys and girls for Jesus Christ. Two of these volunteers are Terry and Elaine Oakes. Elaine teaches a Good News Club®, and she is assisted by her mother and Terry.
Elaine attends Teacher Training Classes, is our auditor, and enjoys teaching with us in the Chapel - on - Wheels at the many fall fairs.
Terry helps in the kitchen during the C.Y.I.A.® Training School at Camp Good News® when he's not working, and is happy to dress up in a clown or bear costume as he gives out free tickets to see the movie in the Chapel - on - Wheels.

We thank the Lord for all our Support Team Volunteers!
