The Chamberlain Family were early settlers of Waterford. The Haskins are connected to the Chamberlains thru marraige as referenced thru "The Selected Letters of Mary Moody Emerson" edited by Nancy Craig Simmons.

The Greene family of N. Waterford is being researched for a book by Clifton Carbin.
The old Photos of Kezar are from Stan Malcolm. He would appreciate any info that could be provided as to possible whereabouts and names. He is also researching family connections to the Greene's.

The "Waterford Water Cure" has been known by fifteen different names through the past, including the "Maine Hygienic Institute" and "Dr. Shattuck's Water Cure". The Water Cure was opened in 1847 by Dr. E.A. Kittridge and Calvin Farrar. Dr. Shattuck bought the Water Cure property, (now known as the Lake House and annex), on 1 June 1854. His life from 1854 to 1887 is described in "The Waterford Water Cure", a "Numismatic Inquiry" by Q. David Bowers © 1992. Coins, counterstamped with "Dr. Shattuck's Water Cure Waterford, ME.", led to research of Dr. Shattuck's life and to publication of the limited edition book.
