USNO web page to give sun angles, to help find true south.   This is especially useful in early March and late September/ early October, when the sun is close to the Clarke belt, as it will show you approximately where the sats are in the sky.

Some computer programs to help understand TVRO system alignment
TVCALC   Calculates sat positions, sun and moon positions, time calculations, more....   {Note, due to a bug that I haven't found yet, the sat positions calculated are slightly off, usually less than a degree, but the other calculations are quite accurate.}

Sun Outage Calculator     I've never tried this, but downloaded it, and can't find the url link now.

GEO-ORBIT WEB PAGE     This has to be the best site on the web for installation of TVRO systems.

SADOUN INSTALLATION PAGE     This has a lot of good info and calculators, mostly specific to 1M Ku dishes and DVB reception.  Note, they use south declinations instead of the preferred declination of a western sat, so I don't recommend their declination values.
