Weather and Preparedness

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), more hazardous weather events occur annually in the United States than in any other nation in the world. The United States is also home to the widest variety of hazardous weather—extreme heat, extreme cold, severe thunderstorms, drought, floods, tornadoes, blizzards, hurricanes, and more. Ninety-five percent of all Presidentially Declared Disasters are weather or flood related, so why not be prepared today?

For up to date weather information, watches, and warnings in your area visit the National Weather Service website in Gray, ME at http://www.erh.noaa.gov/gyx/
